BTO Birds in Greenspaces is a new citizen science project aiming to find out the importance of public-access greenspaces for UK bird populations.

By understanding which and how many birds use and rely on these spaces and habitat within them, we can inform future management that will benefit both the birds and people that use urban greenspaces.

We have created this brief, anonymous questionnaire as we want to know what different guidance would be most helpful in different situations and what potential barriers there are that we need to know about.

Whether you work within your local authority, are a member of a friends-of group, or are a land manager, we really want to hear from you. Your responses will help us to steer the project outputs, so we can provide evidence about birds and their habitats that will help those that manage greenspaces.

The questionnaire is anonymous and will only take a few minutes to complete, and can be accessed via the button below.

Many thanks for your collaboration.
